Exotic Destinations

FlyCastaway specializes in guiding groups of dedicated anglers to various exotic destinations in Southern Africa, the Indian Ocean Islands and various unexplored areas of the world.

With years of fly fishing guiding experience behind them, FlyCastaway pro guides Keith Rose-Innes, Gerhard Laubscher, Ryan Hammond, Paul Boyers, Tim Babich, Jako Lucas & Corin Smith will put you onto the catch of a lifetime.

Our latest destinations include:

St Brandon's Bonefish Heaven - Mauritius
St Brandon'sIf wading and sight casting to double digit Bonefish, gloriously finicky Indo-Pacific Permit and a host of Trevally species on powder white sand flats in the Indian Ocean is your thing….then look no further, St Brandon’s Atoll is the destination for you. St Brandon’s (Cargados Carajos Shoals) is a group of over 50 small islands, coral ridges and vast sand flats which is cut by three major passes and extends 50 km from north to south.

Situated 268 nautical miles north-east of Mauritius’s main island this area is rich in fish stocks, flora and fauna. The magnificent condition of the coral and the lobster infested outer reefs is proof that other than a small population of Creole natives who live on Raphael Island in the north this area has had very little human interference.

Panyame MozambiquePanyame Tigerfish Paradise - Mozambique
Panyame Concession covers the beautiful western corner of Mozambique, with the camp situated on the southern bank of the Zambezi River, approximately 13km downstream from the town of Zumbo, and roughly 15km downstream from the confluence of the Luangwa and Zambezi Rivers. This area is unique in that it offers anglers the opportunity to fish the river, the delta where the river spills into the lake, or the top end of the lake itself. The maze of channels and structure offer anglers’ infinite opportunities to target trophy size Tigerfish irrespective of weather conditions or water levels…and the concentration of trophy size fish is legendary to say the least.
